“This was an extremely needed getaway, and there was no other feeling upon arriving at the hidden bluff lodge other than we have gotten away!

It’s a beautiful property with thoughtful and well-maintained amenities. Marilyn was amazing and we had everything we needed. The trail was extremely picturesque and it was our families’ favorite part of going for a stroll together each day.

The lofted areas were great for the kids to escape to while the adults wanted to chatted with coffee.

The only areas for improvement I would say was it could use a couple more comfortable seating options and the basement shower had a small crack, but it had been patched with a short-term fix before our visit so we could still use it. Also, the kitchen garbage can could be bigger.

“Incredible, CLEAN, cozy cabin on a beautiful piece of property! We really enjoyed our stay. Hosts are very kind and responsive to questions. House stocked with ample blankets, pillows, kitchen utensils and pots, pans, and seasonings. Beds are very comfortable. We would definitely love to return!”

“We loved staying at the Hidden Bluff Lodge! Although it wasn’t yet green everywhere, it was a true cabin vibe with a nicely furnished place. Super peaceful and could see the stars perfectly! Made a campfire in the fire pit and played cornhole on the patio.

We brought our dogs with Steve and Marilyn’s permission and it was wonderful! Only problem is that the surrounding woods have a lot of burrs so it got in the dog fur pretty easily.

Steve and Marilyn were great hosts. The town of New Glarus is also nearby which offered a nice change of scenery for a few hours. Great hiking and even some bouldering on the property! Would definitely come again. Only suggestion for the hosts is to stock better knives...the ones there were really dull unfortunately. All in all a wonderful trip!”
